The lectio school team offered Lectio sessions in two schools in Newry during the past year, namely, Sacred Heart and St Marys. The sessions took place in October/November and March/April. The students engaged well with the Gospels through life experience and evaluations were positive and encouraging. Both schools have already put arrangements in place for the coming school year, 2025/26
The vision of the Lectio team is to offer the Lectio experience to older students who will in turn bring it to some younger students in their school.
